Redirection is protection
Sometimes the universe answers us with a no or not now.
Other times, it offers a delay, a redirection, or a sudden change of plans that doesn’t make sense in the moment. It can feel disappointing, confusing, or even heartbreaking, especially when we thought were certain about what we wanted.
But not every closed door is rejection. Every time this has happened in my life, it has been protection.
There are paths we can’t yet see, details we don’t yet know, and timing or people that aren’t aligned. What feels like a setback may actually be creating space for something far better than we could have imagined. That doesn’t mean we bypass the feelings of grief, frustration, sadness, and uncertainty, they are valid. You are allowed to feel all the feels fully.
And then, gently, we pause. In the fog of the unknown, this is where faith and courage are practiced, not as certainty, but as trust. This is where grounding invites us inward. We tend to our nervous system, our breath, and our inner world and thoughts, remembering that our energy matters.
Every emotion carries a frequency. Frustration, fear, and sadness move more slowly through the body, while gratitude, joy, curiosity, and excitement carry a higher vibration. Frequency hertz: sadness ~25 Hz, frustration ~100 Hz, shame ~20 hz and joy ~540 hz. The invitation is not to suppress lower emotions, but to move through them consciously allowing them to be felt, then intentionally choosing practices that help us rise and transmute to be open to receive.
Our spiritual practices become anchors: prayer, meditation, gratitude, speaking life over ourselves with intention language instead of fear. We shift our inner and external dialogue. We affirm what is possible even when it is not yet visible. We choose words, thoughts, and actions that align us with trust rather than contraction.
We remind ourselves that we are held. That delays are not denials. That what is meant for us cannot miss us.
Even when we cannot see what’s ahead, we can keep our vibration open, cultivating excitement for what is unfolding, staying receptive, and trusting that clarity will arrive in its own time. The waiting is not empty; it is fertile soil!
Something is aligning. Something is preparing. And when it arrives, you’ll understand why the timing mattered.
Until then, keep tending to your inner world; pray, express gratitude’s, sing or dance, because what’s coming is going to meet you there in the energy of excitement, preparedness, and solitude.
